Google Business Messages

The settings below are related to the Google Business Messages app.

Installation

  1. In Nulu Business > Settings > Business Messages > Synchronization, enter a random string in the Client token field and save.
  2. Open the Business Communications Console (opens in a new tab) and sign in with your Business Messages Google account.
  3. Click Partner account settings at the top.
  4. Configure the Webhook by entering the Webhook URL and the Client token, then save the changes. Get these values from Nulu Business > Settings > Business Messages > Synchronization.
  5. Return to the Business Communications Console (opens in a new tab) and open your partner account.
  6. Click Service account from the left menu, create a new key, download the key, and open it with a text editor such as Notepad. Copy private_key and client_email, then paste these values into Nulu Business > Settings > Business Messages > Synchronization.

Testing Your Agent

  1. To test your agent, visit the Business Communications Console (opens in a new tab).
  2. Click your brand to enter your brand Overview area.
  3. Under Agent information > Agent test URLs, click the button suitable for your mobile device and open the link from your mobile device.

Creating a Live Agent for Google Maps

  1. Open your partner account in the Business Communications Console (opens in a new tab).
  2. Create a new agent and add Google Maps locations from Left menu > Locations.
  3. Complete all other information prompts.
  4. Verify and launch the agent from Left menu > Verify and Left menu > Launch.
